Susie is a freelance field producer of television advertisements. Her work is predominantly in political advertising for candidates and on candidates’ behalf for PACs and other interested organizations.
Partnering with agency in-house production coordinators, outside production companies, or acting as the production company, Susie field produces nationwide.
After being trained at a premier media firm in DC until 2013, she hung her own shingle and has been freelance since, working with many political media firms (aka advertising agencies).
Prior to being a field producer, production had knocked on her door for years. Starting with interning with the Rolling Thunder Down Home Democracy Tour in 2001, then moving onto national advance for John Kerry for President, New Hampshire advance for John Edwards and then, staying in NH, she was Senator Jeanne Shaheen’s Deputy Campaign Manager in 2008.
She graduated with a BA in Sociology from Mills College in Oakland, CA and is now based out of her hometown, Minneapolis, MN and continues to travel nationwide for work and play. In her spare time she’s exploring the modern death care movement and wishes a wonderful journey and end for all.
